Whew! This morning has been hectic. Had some trouble waking up and getting out the door on time. And you would understand why if you woke up to this cutie pie every morning.

One of my favorite breakfast meals is cereal, but since I was short on time this morning, I had a cookie! A Erin Baker's delicious Vegan Chocolate Chip Breakfast Cookie. I love these things, and they are very healthy, filling, and energizing. This accompanied my necessary morning coffee dose and a banana (not pictured).
As a note, I am not vegan. I think the whole vegan thing is pretty cool and trendy, but I just don't have enough of the commitment required to be vegan. And I like cheese and eggs! However, I do eat vegetarian a very large portion of the time - meaning, I usually don't eat meat. With that said, there are sometimes that something with meat is the most convenient entree available. Today was one of those times, as I had 2 chicken and cheese, mushroom, and spinach Lean Pockets. Also a Vitamin Water Zero, sweetened with all natural sweeteners! (I tend to be very picky about how the foods I eat are sweetened, but I will get more into that later.
I had to skip normal lunch time today because of class stuff, so when I got out around 3:30, I was ready to grab the first thing at the store! These were only $2.00 combined, and it was the healthiest thing I found. Made with whole wheat crust, too! In between classes today, I also had an apple and a Lara Bar (so good!).
P.S. The working out that was planned to happen last night... Didn't happen. Apparently the gym at my apartment complex isn't 24-hours anymore. The door was locked. :( It had gotten really late too, so I decided it would be better to get a decent amount of sleep anyway. I'm about to do some cardio now, though, while I watch tv. Tonight I'm going out for one of my friend's birthdays, so I'm gonna want to shower and freshen up anyway; might as well do a little sweating!
